Welcome to November.
Hanging around a breakthrough/ answer/miracle but never really knowing can be a frustrating experience.
Have you ever had to search for a key and desperately needed to open a door but just couldn’t find it? You emptied your bag, opened all the zips, checked everywhere in your car, removed the car mats, and dusted everywhere, only to find it after a few minutes (that seemed like a long 5hrs) sitting nicely around the gearbox area smiling back at you. In a split second, you have a surge of feelings. Don’t know if you should be angry or relieved 😃😃😃.
Ok, this also happens spiritually
Remember the guys who were thronging Jesus and yet virtue did not flow to them? But the same Jesus, a woman came from behind based on divine revelation touched the helm of His garment and pam! 12 yrs blood flow ceased!
What about the disciples on their way to Emmaus? They were listing to Jesus (God knows for how many hrs) because it seemed like a long walk. Yet their eyes were restrained and did not know it was Jesus. I mean they were talking to Him about Him🤷♀️. Until the breaking of bread and pam! Their eyes opened and He vanished from their sight. I don’t even what to imagine how they would have felt.
What about the guy that had been sick for 38yrs and had become the chief operating officer at the pool? Jesus stood right in front of him and gave him a blank cheque, yet he was blabbing! It took divine mercy stepping in to deliver him from his spiritual insensitivity.
Did you read about Jacob, who while running from his brother got tired and decided to rest? He took a stone as a pillow and slept. There he had a vision and He saw a ladder from earth to heaven and angels ascending and descending on it. He woke up and said “surely God is in this place and I knew not, this is none other than the house of God and the gates of heaven” he responded in faith by using the same stone as a memorial and called the name of the place Bethel!
Another one is Hagar after Abraham sent her and Ishmael away. She found herself in the wilderness and her water had finished. She left her son under a tree to die while she sat afar off and cried. The Angel of the Lord appeared to her and something incredible happened.
Then God OPENED HER EYES, and she saw a well of water. And she went and filled the skin with water, and gave the lad a drink.
Genesis 21:19
Now u want to believe she must have combed the entire place for we’ll, river and any form of water but somehow she didn’t see this well.
I don’t know if this well was supernaturally provided at that instance. But the key word for me is that “God OPENED HER EYES”.
This is my prayer for you this month and the rest of the year.
By divine revelation and by divine orchestration you will come to solutions and answers that are around you. You will not be blind to them. You will not be ignorant of them. But by the mercy of the Lord, He will open your eyes and cause you to see what He has already provided for you that is within your reach and around you. amen! You will recognise your moment and you will seize them! Taking advantage of divinely prepared opportunities and breakthroughs. Amen.
