Happy international day for the Girl child!
On Saturday 8th of Oct, BR Initiative began its transformational journey of helping 10 girls +1 make a lifetime change! 10 weeks of pouring into these young girls, our future and our hope.
Following this year’s theme: “OUR TIME IS NOW, OUR RIGHTS, OUR FUTURE”
Girls around the world continue to face unprecedented challenges to their education, their physical a mental wellness, and the protections needed for a life without violence.
BR Initiative through Her PROJECT ESTHER is lending her voice and resource to changing the narrative, 1 girl @ a time.
On behalf of the team, I want to thank everyone, especially our Lagos campuses. Thank you for believing in and running with the vision. To all our volunteer resources personnel. Our coaches, mentors and trainers. God bless you. To our partners. We are grateful for your giving. We were encouraged to start because of your generosity.
Through sponsorship and donations, we will be able to do the following for each girl.
- Provide lunch and transport for the 10 Saturdays
- Provide materials for the skill acquisition training
- Provide customized T-shirts and writing materials
- Provide media coverage.

Closing ceremony and Review.
All girls will be allowed to learn all 4 skills and be allowed to choose one of the choices. Based on their choice they would be given start-up kits.
BR Initiative would also attach a girl to a Mentor for the next 6 months. To monitor for progress and also for counselling and support.
At the end of the program these girls will become our BR Tribe ambassadors!
We are super excited about this feat! Our pilot project. Looking forward to replicating this in other states in Nigeria as the Lord empowers us.
